Rules

General

  • Please feel free to DM; I'd love to chat or plot.

  • I do, however, prefer to RP on the TL.

  • I lean towards serious (and overarching) plots. I'm not the biggest fan of crack RP, but, if the mood strikes me, I'll play along.

  • I'm very patient when it comes to replies/starters. I usually don't bother to bump you; I understand that life gets busy sometimes.

  • No lewd/NSFW writing.

  • Dark, mature themes are present (mild violence, angst, depression, the good stuff).

Availability

  • I reply when I can, but you can always reach me via DMs or @ me.

  • I'm in Eastern Standard Time (EST).

  • I don't have a set time when I'm online. As long as I'm free.

Shipping

  • I don’t really focus on shipping for Robin. Maybe some cute moments here and there, if there’s good chemistry, but don’t expect more than that.

  • I keep it SFW (as aforementioned); no sex, kinks, whatever. I’m just not that type of writer.

  • I also ask that you do not beg me to ship with your muse. I don’t feel comfortable with that. So, if that’s your plan from the get-go…well, I’m afraid you’re looking in the wrong place.

Art Credit

  • I use only official art from the games. I avoid using fanart.

  • Photo featured in the pinned post is from FE: Cipher; the artist is Mayo.

  • Reaction sprites are pulled directly from FE: Warriors.

Verses

Thanks to the existence of the Outrealm Gate, Robin can be a part of the different Fire Emblem verses. Below, I provide a brief synopsis of how the tactician can bridge over to another land (or time, altogether).

Awakening

She is an amnesiac tactician found by Chrom in a field. Robin has no recollection of her past, come to find out later on that she is the vessel for the fell dragon, Grima. But with the bonds that she forges with the Shepherds, she defines her own fate.

Fates

TBD!

Heroes

Kiran summons Robin to aid Askr's Order of Heroes in their fight against Embla. She works alongside the summoner as a tactician, providing insight on the many battles to come.

Three Houses

(I had to take some creative liberties with this one, so bear with me...)Robin, a wandering scholar and tactician of enigmatic origins, has arrived in Fódlan via the Outrealm Gates...She happened to show up during the bandits' raid on a nearby village (the very same one Jeralt's mercenaries were lodged in). With nothing else on her but her trusty grimoire and Levin Sword, Robin jumped in to help Byleth protect the young academy students. After their small victory, and with nowhere else to go, she accompanies Byleth and company as they're escorted to Garreg Mach Monastery.Impressed by her sharp mind and courageous heart, Archbishop Rhea appoints her as Byleth's assistant--an adjunct professor, if you will!I've no preference for which class she helps to teach.

Warriors

An Outrealm portal had opened, leading Robin and crew to the kingdom of Aytolis. They help Prince Rowan and Princess Lianna find the Gleamstones to activate the Shield of Flames, and stop Oskar, the king of Gristonne, from resurrecting Velezark.Robin knows all too well what could happen if they fail, so she gives her all the twins' cause...

Final Fantasy XIV

Robin Daraen (clever, I know) is a Sharlayan native in her mid-twenties. Her mother passed early on in her childhood, and lived with her father up until she moved away to Limsa Lominsa to live a life of her own.
NOT the Warrior of Light in this universe.
She starts off as a member of the Arcanists’ Guild, and ends up joining the Scions of the Seventh Dawn after revealing that she, too, possesses the Echo.Joins the WoL as part of the Scions, providing tactical support where possible.

Inventory

Tactical Grimoire

This is a comprehensive textbook of magic spells and tactics that Robin carries around. One of her most prized possessions. She has strategies and tactics written in this book that she can quickly refer to in battle, should she need it.In lieu of carrying around countless heavy tomes, she also transcribed many spells into its pages--thereby lightening her load.Robin painstakingly transcribed the sigils from numerous spell tomes and consolidated them into a singular spell book.A special ink is used for these sigils that actually channels and enhances the magic energy used to cast these spells.(Credit to the Shepherd's resident scholar mage, Miriel, for inventing this magic-catalyzing ink!)It is of high-quality, so it maintains the sigil’s integrity with a bold, dark color.Robin has also enchanted the book’s pages to be fireproof, so that its contents can be salvaged if others attempt to destroy it.

Levin Sword

A magical sword forged in a way to resemble a lightning bolt. Its uncanny appearance makes it seem like an inefficient weapon to wield yet in the tactician's hands, it's anything but.It allows Robin to channel lightning magic into her attacks. She took it from Gangrel after defeating him at the Border Wastes. Like her grimoire, Robin looks after this blade with much care.

Vulnerary

You'd be a fool to think that she would enter battle without a few flasks in her pouch. It is a bitter tasting potion of healing herbs and spices, capable of relaxing and dulling the mind to the pain of wounds.

Combat

General

In battle, Robin wields both her Grimoire of Tactics and the Levin Sword. She is capable of conjuring up magic spells to attack from afar, calling upon the elements of fire, lightning, and wind.Should worst come to worst, she will rely upon dark magic to finish the job. At close range, she will use the Levin Sword to fend off foes and maintain distance from them. She isn’t the fastest, nimblest, or strongest fighter, but she is more than capable of turning the tides in any battle.

Abilities & Skills

  • Solidarity = Grants adjacent allies and paired ally of user an increase in Critical Rate and Critical Evade.

  • Tactical Advice = When user is the support unit of an ally, increases lead unit's Hit Rate.

  • Rally Spectrum = Increases all Stats of all allies within a 3-tile radius for 1 Turn.

  • Shadowgift = Allows the user to use Dark Magic if able to wield tomes.

  • Ignis = Adds half of the unit's Magic stat to their Strength when using a physical weapon like Swords, Bows, and Stones. Adds half of a unit's Strength to the unit's Magic when using a tome or a magic weapon.

Lightning

Her most used set of spells, as it is what she is most proficient at. Robin delivers quick, precise bolts of lightning at her foes.‣ Thunder: the weakest and lowest level lightning spell. Manifests as a quick, tiny bolt. Easy to conjure and useful for fast, unpredictable attacks. Has a rather short range, though.‣ Elthunder: a step up from Thunder in the lightning spell hierarchy. It’s a slightly more advanced version of Thunder. Releases a longer bolt of lightning that travels farther than its preceding spell. A good, jack-of-all-trades, attack to use.‣ Arcthunder: the 3rd level spell in the Lightning magic hierarchy. Appears as a purple orb that is concentrated with a dense amount of electricity. Lethal in power and can cause the assailant to convulse when hit. Slower moving than its 2 predecessors.‣ Thoron: Robin’s most powerful lightning spell. She delivers a devastating beam that can pass through several enemies. This spell takes immense concentration to produce, and requires time to charge. It leaves her open to attacks, however…

Fire

This style of magic is by far the strongest, but the most unsafe to wield. She can either create a powerful explosion to sear the enemy, or set them ablaze within a whirling pillar of flames.‣ Fire: the lowest and weakest of the fire magic hierarchy—much like its counterpart, Thunder. Manifests as a ball of flame that has the mighty capability of incinerating its target.‣ Arcfire: an advanced version Fire, in that it is a slightly larger ball of flame. However, instead of bursting upon impact like its predecessor, Arcfire engulfs the target in a pillar of flames. Can be used defensively to create a wall of fire.‣ Bolganone: the strongest Fire spell in Robin’s repertoire. Robin casts a tremendous flame from her palm which builds up in energy, and is released in a devastating explosion. Dangerous to use, and takes an immense amount of concentration to conjure.

Wind

Perhaps the weakest spells she has in her arsenal, but the most versatile in many other situations. Robin produces a wide arc of wind that can knock back foes in large droves, clearing the path for an opening. She can also use it to gain speed and mobility in the battlefield by propelling herself upon conjured gales.‣ Wind: the weakest wind magic spell that Robin can cast. She releases a gust of air that can knock back enemies. Not really used for attacks, but has other uses such as zoning her enemies into a particular attack range.‣ Elwind: an advanced version of Wind that Robin can use. The spell can manifest as either one to two blades of air that can target groups of enemies in a wide arc. Plus, it can be used to propel Robin into the air--gaining an aerial advantage over them.‣ Rexcalibur: the strongest Wind spell Robin can use. It's an even more advanced version of Elwind, increasing the number of blade-shaped gusts and their respective sizes. Takes an immense amount of concentration to cast. Effective against flying units.

Dark

This is Robin’s least used set of spells, as the brutal nature of dark magic misaligns with the tactician’s morals. When used, a dark, ominous fog engulfs the enemy and drains them of their life force. They are completely at her mercy, and cannot move in the slightest. Robin siphons her foe’s energy to replenish her own, at the cost of them nearly dying. With Plegian blood coursing through her veins, she is naturally proficient with dark magic—much to her dissatisfaction.‣ Nosferatu: a purple, snakelike cloud wraps around the target, and slowly saps them of their life force—not unlike a boa constrictor suffocating its prey. Robin’s own energy is replenished at the cost of her enemy losing theirs.‣ Miasma: Robin casts an opaque black cloud over the desired area, engulfing the enemy’s lungs in a poisonous gas that constricts their airways. Will leave them in a coughing fit at first, until they slowly suffocate…

Close Quarters Combat

‣ Levin Sword: with tome in one hand and blade in the other, the tactician magician is a force to be reckoned with. The Levin Sword is best used in conjunction with lightning magic, amplifying her attacks by casting larger, more powerful bolts. Robin attacks with lightning-imbued slashes that can electrocute her assailants and cause them to stutter in battle, affording her the opportunity to finish with a spell of her choosing.
